My learning and development expertise draws especially on my backgrounds in teaching, research and advertising. I bring proficiencies that position me to:

 

  • Create or curate educational opportunities

  • Easily work across LMS platform types (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas)

  • Successfully teach & coach in both remote and in-person formats

  • Take on deep dive target/audience research, for enablement and for marketing 

  • Review & advise on campaign strategy, message design

  • Wireframe with an eye for UX (e.g., MarvelApp, Canva, Wix, WordPress)

  • Apply robust quantitative and qualitative research skills (e.g., data analytics, content analysis, stakeholder and community engagement, currently learning SQL)

  • Design surveys and analyze results (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Google Forms)

  • Create impactful data visualization (e.g., Excel, Google Charts, currently learning Tableau)

 

The core of learning and development, supporting others and nurturing organizational success, has been at the heart of my professional career. My deep experience in libraries and University teaching reflect a personal value of helping others succeed. 

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

My perspective is that organizational sustainability relies on successful stewardship and sharing of knowledge. This outlook is complemented by expertise honed through my background in information science, such as:

 

  • Creation of knowledge management architecture

  • Facilitation of information sharing that supports use of SOPs

  • Policy & procedure development

  • Development of documentation routines for organizational processes

  • Facilitation of protocols for documenting customer relationships 

 

My capacity to cultivate organizational trust and transparency, which leads to knowledge sharing, is a cornerstone of how I approach knowledge management.
